12 May 2013, KL -The Feast of Ascension is celebrated forty days after Easter on a Thursday. This year, this feast was celebrated in Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord, Ampang on May 12, 2013. Prior to the solemn feast day mass, three days of praise and worship together followed by two days of novena was held.

The celebration begun with a praise and worship at 5pm lead by Mr. John and the Eucharistic celebration begun at 5.30pm which was celebrated by Rev. George  Packiasamy together with our parish priest.

A Joyous Easter

31st Apr 2013-This year parishioners of St. Anthony’s church gathered to celebrate the Easter Vigil on April 31st at 8pm and ended late at night. It is to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord. This Easter Vigil celebration consists of four important parts which are;

 i) The service of light,

 ii) The liturgy of the Word,

 iii) Christian Initiation and the renewal of Baptismal vow as well as

 iv) The Holy Eucharist.

Good Friday

 29th March 2013 - The Friday that precedes Easter is known to all Christians as ‘Good  Friday’. During this day of prayer and fasting, the parishioners of St. Anthony’s Church, Kuala Lumpur, gathered at the church to commemorate the passion and suffering of Jesus Christ. The day of repentance begin with the depiction of the Passion of Christ by the Youths of St. Anthony’s Church. The compound of the church became the stage of the heartening performance of the young and talented of St. Anthony’s Church. The play which left the parishioners in tears was followed by the Good Friday service

The Start Of Holy Week (Palm Sunday)

"Stand Faithfully With God In Our Trials"

24thMarch 2013-During the five weeks of Lent we have been preparing, by works of fasting, praying and almsgiving, for the celebration of our Lord’s Paschal Mystery. Today, we come together to begin this solemn celebration in union with the whole Church throughout the world. Christ entered in triumph into his own city, to complete his work as our Messiah: to suffer, to die and to rise again.

It was scheduled that the youth of the church will be animating the Tamil and English mass, which are 7.30am and 9.30am respectively, whereas the BM mass is at 12noon.
