1st Jan 2013 - New Year is the time which a new calendar year begins and the calendar’s year count is incremented.  The New Year of the Georgian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January.  It is a day where new aspirations and resolutions are made. To celebrate the beginning of the year 2013, St. Anthony Church held two New Year masses.  The first was a bilingual mass in Tamil and English language.  This bilingual mass started at 9.30 am.  Many attended the mass to start the year with the blessing of the Holy Eucharist. The second mass on New Year day was in Bahasa Malaysia and was held at 12.00 noon.  Both masses were conducted by our parish priest, Rev. Father Terence.  After the mass, all parishioners were wishing among themselves “Happy New Year”.  Everyone is happy with the start of the New Year 2013.  Hope this year brings luck and prosperity to everybody. May there be peace in the world.
